The ff43 sailing yacht has as homeport Katwoude (near Monnickendam). It is a design of Jac. de Ridder with modifications of Peter Bosgraaf. It has been built by Ewoud Akkerman in Medemblik as a one off according to my wishes and was ready in 2013.
It has three cabins. Two for two persons. There are two toilets, in one a douche facility. In the cockpit a douche is also available. Especially nice after swimming. In the main cabin four beds can be created especially handsom during sailing at night.
The galley contains a cooker for three pans and a stove. Good meals can so be prepaired. Nice if anchoring or drying out is the situation.
With a draft varying from 240 cm - 90 cm drying out is possible. Ideal for the Waddenzee and the east cost of England.
The sailing speed of the yacht is tremendous and therefore the action radius is large. In a relatively short time (1-3 days) Belgium, France, England, Germany Denmark, Norway, Sweden can be reached. For a one day trip beautiful places at the Marker- and IJsselmeer can be visited such as Hoorn, Enkhuizen (with his famous Zuiderzee museum), Volendam and Marken. Only by boat the Markerwadden can be visited. Beautiful hikes can be made there.
The home berthing place is Katwoude at the Gouwzee. There Madeleen as superhost is running a B&B with three rooms and an own entrance. See www.BenBwoudkatjeMadeleen.nl
(combination with sailcharter possible).

for more information and the price (dependent of the date but always 20% cheaper than any other sailing yacht from 2013 and 43 ft long in the Netherlands)
The skipper speaks English, German and French (mediocre). He is an experienced (regatta) sailor and has won several prices ( first prices in his class during three Colin Archer Memorial races from Lauwersoog to Laorvik in Norway and first prices during five Schuttevaerraces on the Waddenzee including Line Honours. In 2018 a nice trip to Madeira has been made.
It is preferred that the persons chartering the yacht, if they like to do it, sail the yacht themself. Everybody who has been on board experience the skipper as a trustworthy person with whom you feel quickly comfortable.
Do not hesitate to contact him for further information or questions. See above for mail address and phone number.
